X50 & X52
The X5 & X50 (and 76)
Scenic Circular
Enjoy
all that the Vale of Clwyd has to offer. If you fancy something
different, why not travel one way on the X5 and back on the X50 on or
Scenic Circular? Here's how.
- From Denbigh, catch X5 at 0915, 1015, 1115, 1215, 1315 or 1415
towards Corwen. You can wait a while in Ruthin if you wish. You can
also board at Ruthin at 0940, 1040, 1140, 1240, 1340 or 1440
- Either get off near Corwen to spend an hour at Caer Drewyn or
wander round the town. Or stay on the bus for a trip along the Dee
Valley to Llangollen and Wrexham. Buses depart Corwen for Llangollen
and Wrexham service 5 at 1008, 1108, 1208, 1308, 1408 and 1508. The
1608 goes as far as Llangollen only & operates on schooldays
- Stay a while at Llangollen if you chose or remain on the bus to
Wrexham. With plenty to do and see at Llangollen, buses for Wrexham
on service 5 run every 15 minutes till 1800
- Having arrived at Wrexham, you can shop a little before catching
the X50 home again for Ruthin and Denbigh. Buses leave Wrexham bus
station hourly from 0925 to 1525, then 1630, 1725, 1825, 1905, 2110
and 2300.
- Always remember to plan your journey to ensure you make your
connections and you don't miss the last buses
You can plan your own journeys and remember you can stop off at
Ruthin, Corwen and Llangollen en route. Just catch the next convenient
bus.
And you can try the scenic circular in reverse.
Finally, you can chose to get back to Denbigh from Ruthin using
indirect service 76,
a bus service that hugs the spectacular western flank of the Clwydian
Range.
