Arriva offers frequent and comprehensive services to and from Rhyl, Prestatyn, Rhuddlan, St Asaph and Dyserth and along the coast to Llandudno, Holywell and Chester.

OPEN TOP SERVICES
Between 22 May and 3 September inclusive, Arriva operates an open top bus service every half our between Pensarn, Towyn, Rhyl, Prestatyn, Presthaven Sands and Talacre. Occasionally, circumstances may dictate the use of a conventional bus. Voel Coaches also operates between Rhyl, Prestatyn and Presthaven Sands, either broadly hourly or broadly half-hourly, depending upon the day of the week or the time of season.
TO DENBIGH
From 22 May 2011, Arriva has increased its buses between Rhyl Rhuddlan, St Asaph and Denbigh from every 20 minutes to every 15! Evening services till about 2030 now operate at half-hourly intervals (formerly, they were hourly). Sunday daytime buses continue to run hourly. GHA operates when Arriva finishes (valid Arriva return tickets are valid on GHA X52 after 2015 on weekdays and all day on Sundays).
TO RHUDDLAN
From 22 May, there are now up to five Arriva buses an hour between Rhyl and Rhuddlan. Evening services on both the 51s and 35/36s have changed.
TO DYSERTH
There are up to four buses an hour between Rhyl and Dyserth, of which two operate via Prestatyn, and two via Rhuddlan. Evening times have changed.
TO PRESTATYN
Arriva operates up to four buses an hour during weekday daytimes, as service 11, 35 & 36.
TO HOLYWELL FOR FLINT AND CHESTER
Buses operate at up to every half hour. Buses run to Holywell and then through to Chester, without the need to change.
TO LLANDUDNO
Buses operate up to every 12 minutes during the day and half-hourly in the evening. From 22 May 2011, there are now more early morning services on weekdays and on Sundays buses run every 20 minutes rather than half-hourly during the main part of the day.
RHYL TOWN SERVICES
Weekday services on Arriva's 83/84/83A/84A/183/184 remain unchanged but Sunday services are now operated by GHA Coaches at the same times as Arriva operated. You can use your valid Arriva weekly tickets on GHA's Sunday service.
M & H service 47 operates on Mondays to Friday as now. From 18 May, the Monday to Friday timetable will also operate on Saturdays.
FARES INTERAVAILABILITY
You cannot use an Arriva ticket on buses operated by GHA Coaches, M & H Coaches, P & O Lloyd or Voel Coaches; or vice versa.
GHA Coaches will, however, accept valid Arriva tickets at the following times:
- On the X52 after 2015 on weekdays and all day on Sundays
- On the Town Service on Sundays
- On the 35 between Rhuddlan and Rhyl direct, after 1800 on weekdays and all day Sunday
- On the 36 between Rhyl and Rhuddlan direct, after 1800 on weekdays and all day Sunday
- On the 54 between Rhyl and St Asaph Business Park at any time
